Every student deserves to choose a university by evidence, not by chance.

Global Youth Decision Lab harnesses the power of every single individual to fight for an educated world. We identify the gaps in education systems — school by school, country by country — and we start where the stakes are highest: high schoolers facing the life-changing decision of college.

Our Mission

Finding the holes in every education system — and closing them with research

Our purpose is to map where education fails young people, whether at the level of a single classroom or an entire country, and to turn those findings into policy that actually changes lives.

Worldwide by design

We are unique through embodying the worldwide. Education is compared across borders, not judged inside one system, so every insight travels.

Psychology at the core

Choosing a university is far more than selecting a degree. It is about understanding who we are, recognising our strengths and finding a path that matches our potential.

Powered by young people

We seek the power of every single individual. Students are not the subject of our research — they are its co-authors and its first beneficiaries.

What We Do

Four steps from an unanswered question to real change

  • Conduct research into how students actually make university decisions, and where guidance breaks down.
  • Publish the findings openly, in language students, parents and teachers can use immediately.
  • Submit policy initiatives to governments in order to improve the educational system.
  • Create meaningful, positive change — measured in students who choose with confidence.

From the Founder

A project that is deeply personal

The idea had been quietly growing in my mind for several months, but it finally crystallised in June 2026. Just one week later, I reached out to the people whose expertise could refine the concept and provide the scientific foundation needed to turn it into reality.

Every year, thousands of students face one of the most important decisions of their lives with limited guidance and considerable uncertainty. I believe they deserve better.

What our first partners say

"For the first time our students are answering questions about themselves before they answer questions about universities. That reversal changes everything."

AMAndreea M.Head of Guidance, Pilot School

"The methodology is rigorous and the language is human. That combination is rare in educational research, and it is exactly what schools need."

DRDr. Daniel R.Scientific Advisor, Educational Psychology

"I stopped choosing a degree that would impress people and started choosing a path that fits me. I wish every student had this in their final year."
